My blackberry bluetooth DUN speeds are about 5 fold with OS X and Win XP vs with my 810. But I have plenty of votes and will vote for improved PAN support if you point me to the appropriate bug.

My understanding is that the limit is with the DUN spec, not Nokia's implementation. Really, though, we need good PAN support.
This is something that Nokia can work on and should. They prioritize what bugs they work on somewhat by what the users think is important. Vote for them to work on it here.
