Has anybody done a reflash to their n9 to pr1.3 after google suspended active sync for NEW accounts[1] and is still working?

I don't think it should work as it would be a new connection to the account...

I did it... but I also restored a backup (via Nokia suite and through the built in backup, I did both because I was not sure what I was doing... ) soon after the reset.
So, now I can continue using calendar sync to Google via mail for exchange. I think this is due to the backup, not sure!
