My email verification was not completed, that is why the thenks button was not activated for me...
now my verification has been completed and thanks button has activated.

Why does the bootscreen videos in bootscreen manager lagg at start up, even nokia hands lagg?

i unistalled the bootscreen manager and still my nokia hand lagg =(

To insert your own video follow these instructions (from the link above thanks to VDVsx):
1. Copy the video you want to play to /usr/share/hildon-welcome/media
2. Go to /etc/hildon-welcome.d/ and edit the default.conf file or create a similar one (the videos will play by the alphabetic order of the .conf files)"
I don't have any file in /etc/hildon-welcome.d anymore after i have used the bootscreen manager =(

Use the N900, don't just look at it!
Boot video is an interesting component of the device. The default video is signature of the manufacturer, and possibly advertisement. Ability to personalise it is one of small freedoms which each user should have - like changing theme of the operating system, or replacing a stock application with an alternative, or changing ringtone.
