The core specs aren't my primary concern any more (except for maybe TOH & a "true HD" res), but I didn't expect you to get that, Dave

@jaylist: Speculation or not, I guess you can come up with quite a few reasons why they have a deadline for preordering. If I may, here's my list: keep a shroud of exclusiveness, draw out interest, determine the amount of t-shirts and "exclusive other halves" they have to produce, get a bit of extra funding. If they extend the deadline, people, like you, will delay their preorder.
Also, if specs are not your primary concern, then what is? The OS itself is pretty much clear right now. The only thing unclear, afaic, is the quality of the default apps and support for open standards for PIM,VoIP, chat, sharing, streaming.
For me the €100 preorder is of course a gamble, but given the other choices in the market right now I find it hard to believe Jolla will mess up that much that I would want an Android (or null forbid, worse) instead. [edit] Even then, I expect the hardware to be open enough to be able to flash FirefoxOS, UbuntuOS or Android on it. That will probably void the functionality of the other half though.
Also, the €0 option is risk-free.

And, the possibility for a keyboard on a other half is never ruled out. They once tweeted that it would technically be possible to add a camera on a other half, so why not a keyboard.

I do believe however that some people here have issues. And in the easterbunny. He's real.
