Yeah I remember they were doing that but just odd my N9 is affected by it. Its going on 2 weeks since my n9 has updated my email.

Would activation of POP in your Yahoo! Mail account solve the problem?

If your access to imap has stopped working it sounds very much like the problem I encountered. Instead of using imap.mail.ovi.com try using one of the servers closest to your location.
e.g. for me it was the mail server in Singapore: 106.10.145.43 or imap-nokia.mail.vip.sg3.yahoo.com
I also had to do the same to be able to send mail (smtp) again.

I don't recall ever paying any money to Yahoo. Still, I seem to have this option: I had to to enable POP, to get Modest to actually access Yahoo Mail.

This fixed my mail problem

So far haven't gotten any new emails to see if it automatically updates but I can manually check now all emails after have been updated

Error getting emails 
Tried to open my account on pc and phone.. Everything working fine!!!
I added my account using 'other mail account'??
