I picked up one of these keyboards last weekend and it has been working great for me under OS2007. This evening I upgraded to OS2008 and have been unable to get the keyboard and N800 to pair after several hours of trying (the N800 pairs OK with my phone). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Gary

- have not had a problem w/either of my n800s (use the BT keyboard w/one running os2007 and the other w/os2008)...
- did you try pairing the keyboard with it being the only bt device active?
(i don't use [or even have] a cell phone, let alone one with bt)

- that's pretty perplexing!
- i'd try:
1. turn off keyboard (press and hold pwr button until it turns off
2. boot the n800
3. go to settings->control panel->bluetooth and turn it on
(look for bt icon in statusbar)
4. turn on the keyboard (press pwr button, watch das blinken lights!)
5. acquire pairing digits after launching bt keyboard and hitting pair
6. type them on the keyboard, hit Enter
(IIRC, you'll then need to select generic 105-key PC, English)
- good luck! there's no reason this should not work?

F3 - tablet top menu toggle
F4 - app menu toggle
F6 - fullscreen toggle
F7 - zoom in (works in Web browser *and* xterm fonts)
F8 - zoom out (ditto)
F9 - task switcher
F12 - shutdown menu
- not so under os2008! Nokia has stupidly decided that single FKey remapping is 'illegal' (this is a PITA)... since i don't like the idiotic multi-key travesty defaults (Shift-Ctrl-m, and such nonsense), i created these shortcuts on my other n800 running os2008:
alt-F3 - tablet top menu - DOES NOT TOGGLE ANYMORE!!!! WHY??????
alt-F4 - app menu toggle
alt-F6 - fullscreen toggle
alt-F7 - zoom in (works in Web browser *and* xterm fonts)
alt-F8 - zoom out (ditto)
alt-F9 - task switcher
ctl-F9 - minimize
alt-F12 - shutdown menu
- have a happy!
