Well why not? It looks very nice, it's very powerful and it can be done on Maemo/MeeGo too. My Windows Phone just finished upgrading that software and here are the features:

Main features:
  • Shutter Speed
  • ISO
  • White Balance
  • Exposure Compensation
  • Focus
  • Flash
  • Aspect Ratio
  • AF Assist Lamp

Drive modes include:
  • Burst Shot (up to 5 FPS)
  • Self-Timer
  • Intervalometer (for timelapse)

Display features include:
  • Grid Lines
  • 3D Level Gauge
  • Histogram
  • Full HD photo browsing
  • EXIF viewer

Re-think what's possible with a cell phone. Leave the heavy DSLR in the studio.

GUI DEMO:

Splash screen, describing the application features:

Main interface with black-out sensor:

Interface and image spectrum at work:

Focus, and capture window (I don't quite understand what's with that black-out zones but in options it's called "Highlight Clip" and it's set to Auto-ON):

And here is the final product of a 5Mpx sensor:

Now isn't this a nice looking GUI with some nice features, that can also be implemented in Maemo/MeeGO?

Interesting software. The black-out zones are the overexposed areas of the photo, very useful to have pictures with correct exposition and detail in both the highlights and shadows.

Yes I found out. I asked a photographer and he explained me what that is, and he told me that "it's useless from the perspective of a photographer" because that can be not quite precise.

So, did I said that you didn't? I just sugested a nice design combined with useful features. If you are going to be mean, please be mean in other threads.

The only interesting thing that I've come across here are those legs...
