Does anyone have experience with the keyboard mentioned in this video?
It's referenced again here.
.. and can be purchased here.

I bought this keyboard and, although it works fine on my desktop, it only 'half' works on my 770. When I plug it in, the scroll/caps/num lock keys stay on. (On my desktop they go off after a few seconds.)
Consequently, the NumLock feature is on, and 15 of the keys are re-purposed for a makeshift (no pun intended) numeric keypad. In fact, those keys don't work as numbers at that point; they just don't work at all.

In the aforementioned video, a similar situation is described, but he solves it by hitting caps lock twice. That doesn't work for me.

The ONLY thing that works for me is to hold down the Fn key the whole time I'm using the keyboard, which causes those keys to function as expected. That's not too appealing. My pinky will eventually tire and possibly mutiny.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the links.

It did work for me on the 770, but I'd have to reassemble that hack to see what was going on. The keyboard is a little stiff.... I prefer the Logitech Net Play keyboard with a shortened cable.

The Brando keyboard is on my Windows MCE box - still requiring the double caps-lock hit after boot.

Have you tried to see if any other keyboard has related issues?

Ya, I have one of those flexi/roll-up keyboards (the one that has a bunch of duplicate keys on it) and that functions fine, although it is a pain to use... I'm open to buying another. What are the dimensions of your NetPlay keyboard? It looks like a good solution. (without the joysticks of course)

I just got one of these keyboards for my N810. $25 delivered.

It's an ideal size, decently made.
Worked for Thoughtfix on his N800, half works for me.
Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll luck all lit and active. Fkeys work.
There must be some way to beat this, but I don't know what I'm doing.

dmesg output follows.

Dubwise,

I'm having the same problem with this keyboard and the N800: have to hold down the fn key in order to get most of the letters on the right side of the keyboard to enter. Did you come up with a solution for this? Or has anyone else solved this?

Glad I found this post... hope someone can help!
