It is possible via Queen Beecon Widget. The command for that would be

echo "stop bme ; start bme" | sudo gainroot

Sorry for my ignorance, but what's the usefulness of restarting bme?

reset to know the accurate battery level, sometimes when charging but you unfinish, unpluged the charger, the battery level percent is not correct, so you need to reset the BME
