Which phone are you using? There was a similar report from a Symbian user and might be related to a combination symbian/model xxx/Qt.

Can confirm that someone other than my red A**?

Hi, bwalter,

Thanks a lot for this application - I purchased it today and gave it a first test run (literally ;-) ), it's great to have an alternative, especially one that exports data to open formats, which is something that seems to be in decline across the board lately.

Can I make a few suggestions? Some of which you may already have, but here they go anyway:
- The lock screen should really be in the LPS screen (the one that has the clock, player controls, etc.). The rationale being that I often use the phone with a password, and I have to type it every time I want to access my training information. This isn't too much of a hassle as I can either deactivate it or just do it, however, in very cold weather when you need gloves, swiping becomes difficult if not impossible, so the LPS screen becomes the preferred place as you can see it by pressing a button.
- It would be great if the lock screen displayed the speed at which you are going, even better if you can configure what information you can have, within reason.
- I have done one training as yet, but I am suspecting that you can only export one training each time - if this is true, it'd be great if you could export everything at once.
- You mentioned in this thread that you will port this to Sailfish once you get your hands on a device - did you manage to give it a go with the SDK? At least work can get started!
- It would be fantastic if you could read other Open Street Map formats, aside from the tiles, in particular the compressed binary one. You could then import a lot easier and a lot more. Not sure whether this is too relevant, though, as I would be tempted to use MeeRun for map viewing, which isn't the intended purpose, but I thought I'd mention it as downloading tiles from OSM ends up with you having a lot of files, and you can very easily reach the limit of the file system in terms of inodes.

That's it for now, great job and keep at it!

I understand the argument with the gloves But for the moment, I will focus on improving the MeeRun lock screen, see next point

Yes, it is planned to support changeable fields, both for the normal screen and for the lock screen! This includes average or current speed and (maybe) altitude.

Yes, that would be indeed much better. I also have the idea of synchronizing the trainings with a given folder (in that case, no need to import/export any more).

- You mentioned in this thread that you will port this to Sailfish once you get your hands on a device - did you manage to give it a go with the SDK? At least work can get started!
Yes, work can definitely be started (and I should give it a new try, even though I have not been that lucky with the simulator so far...). In my experience, real devices are needed (especially for the GPS and filter calibration) and speed up the development quite a lot, though.

Reading the compressed binary data would be great! A lot of work though... Current priorities are audio coach, changeable fields, altitude measurement and offline maps. And afterwards, everything is possible

Good feedback and ideas Gabriel! However, as knobtviker wrote earlier, ``Leave reviews guys on Nokia Store.
Best way to inform rest of users...´´

This is important for new users and testers of MeeRun.

Twitter??? OMG ... But yea, why not

Refund? Guess not - that's reply I got when asked for refund (first mail was for faulty download and after a month I wrote second one and asked for refund):

My reply:

Dear Mr. Jan S.,

I received your response stating I'm not eligible for refund and I find my order:

a) faulty
c) affected by technical problems

- I bought application that was removed from store
- same application is later added to store but under different number

faulty: http://store.ovi.com/content/357611
faulty: http://store.ovi.com/content/366068
current: http://store.ovi.com/content/363791

Please refund or enable downloading version 363791 that is currently in store. I have no idea what went wrong but to my knowledge store has/had 3 versions of same application and users who were early adopters cannot download current version due Nokia's removal.

I found your suggestion that I should complain to developer very unprofessional - please clean your mess (3 versions of same application).

Wish you best and eagerly waiting for your response,
****

sponka yes Twitter coz it's public. I have solved all my troubles with Ovi (but for other app) after I contact to NokiaCare and my local Nokia via Twitter only. Via e-mails I got annoying pointless conversation or simple ignoring. Be persistent and patient but don't be rude. After some conversation tweets I've got refund and I buy renew version.

I should to clarify. It was not my idea for refund. NokiaCares by themselves gives me refund for app I can't download coz of they error (some months ago they publish apps with error to downloads and MeeRun was in this wave). So NokiaCare make me refund to take off from me.

Thanks for explanation.

As for rude part -- I'm not very proud of my reaction but I'm also not sorry for my response. I work for international company that has offices all arount the world except in USA & Australia. We are in fast moving business dealing a lot face-to-face and beeing office manager I know what's fast response. It's their job to deal with customers and I'm sure my request is pretty simple -- we are not in stone age (anymore) and considering all info they require when complaint is submitted even monkey could solve ... something. Solely my opinion, of course
