Are you sure you are looking at the new site, and not at a cached copy? All new pictures on the new site. And the press release is definitely there.

You cant just say GoogleMaps or HERE or whatever else is better because that depends on country/area.

Google may suck in my area when HERE is better and viseversa in your country.

It looks great! And I guess I won't need the Cooktimer app 'cause the functionality seems to be integrated in the default Clock app.

What I wonder about is why people still speculate that it will be available this year in Finland only and ask Jolla in what countries it will be initially released in.
As usual, just read the FAQ :
We target to ship the first device by the end of 2013. Online sales will be open to European Union countries plus Norway and Switzerland.

Two things bother me, though...
- the lack of any mention of China (I believe this will change with the Chinese New Year)
- Yandex. You can disagree, but I'd rather have an NSA integrated service than a Russian one. It is a wide known fact all major bussineses in Russia need to cooperate with the government. And you know, the Russian government is far 'less predictable' than the US'.
(no offense Custodian, Ancelad and others )

Actually I belive it's pretty near launch now. All the signs are pointing that way.
Ysterday a colleague of mine went to a fair and there was a Jolla stand there, people were given handouts like stickers and brochures there.
It was possible to actually get the device in your sticky paws, but the lineup was so long he did not stay and wait for it.

In my books both of those are equally bad. US is actually worse as it pretends to be the land of the free... At least Russia is honest, they do not even trust themselves

As for Yandex, it's just an app store. Anybody who installs Android apps is asking for trouble whatever the source...

The colours in the specifications table seem to differ a bit from those in the pile at the bottom of the page. Spec table = lime greenish vs. pile = bright yellow. I hope that the limited TOH is orange, or at least white or maybe black.

I've clean the cache again just to be sure, still the same old website. Although, I do notice the change in the battery life to 9/10 hours...

It sure is... Does anyone remember/care to find out how long "pretty soon" has previously meant? Could they have a set code for such phrases? =)
