sudo asking for user password to execute operations under root. You should set password for user before using sudo.

@coderus, in my ubuntu laptop when i'm using sudo command it requires user password, with which i'm locking my lockscreen so, i'm asking in this case, in N9 with openmode kernel doesnt work devicelock password (lockscreen password,so user password - according to ubuntu). I'm trying to install debinstaller but i get that error when i type apt-get install debinstall:
Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/). is another process using it?
I probably uninstalled something recently that i wasn't supposed to but i don't remember clearly.
