I'd interpret the last messages in that MBBS thread to mean orders are "in picking" by order they were paid. As people who pre ordered in the first wave on day one but weren't the first ones to pay still have their orders in "paid" status.

Sure this is from sample of couple posters so no certainty there. I just hope to get my device soon.

I pre-booked my Jolla on day one and got also invited to the event in Finland - therefore I think that I am one of the first 450 customers.

Due to the high costs I wasn't able to go to the event and wondered why I am at position 720 in the queue.

But many things got clearer now

I preordered the 40€ option on the second day of first wave, but then, when the 100€ preorder option began available for my country (29.5.), I've cancelled my preorder and took the 100€ one, as suggested by Jolla Care. Does that mean I was pushed a further back in the queue? Ahh, waiting for my Jolla like a little child for a christmas present and would be really sad, if it won't make it in time ;-)

And the first tracking code is received. Promising delivery in 1-2 days. And my order changed to "in picking"

Jolla Customer Care have just recently stated that, contrary to earlier information, the Order No. has absolutely nothing to do with your priority.

He received tracking number and he was in the first 30 to pay. Seems like his order number was actually the number he paid in.

edit: He ordered at the end of first wave. So they are dispatching in the order they were paid not by pre booking order. At least for him.
