it all depends on the type of headphones that you use.
if you don't like sound changes - just off DAC. maybe in future i can find more options for enhance sound) but, thx for test.
you can use this mod with quasarmx full version with equalizer)
& I'm trying to contact with TheoX, he did "beats audio" for n900. maybe he can port his driver to n9

this script toggles values "Left LOM Inverted From", "Right LOM Inverted From" in alsamixer -c 1 and increases the bass and treble.
power consumption:
when DAC enabled: 30-40 mA
when DAC disabled: about 30-40 mA
cpu load:
about 5% when DAC enabled.
about 5% when DAC disbled.
