well I went to c:my documents/my music/ the song itself and dragged and dropped to the 770 d: drive; still unknown file.

what was the file type?

it was a wma file; I know wma files don't work on the 770 but I have installed winamp, Real Player, Napster.. Do I need to remove Real Player, Napster, and Windows Media Player and keep winamp?

nope. all you need to do now is find mp3 files and play music
