Sorry. That was false-alarm. Cannot reproduce anymore. Apparently some other process died along with UI restarts...

Hi,
I get an error on installing duicontrolpanel-unrestricted-settings_1.0.3_armel: it says this package depends on unrestricted-settings-support. But this last one has no candidate to install.

However, I see the Setting UI in the N9 settings application, so it works...almost. I've tried to setup something, removing netspeed and battery bar, OK. But, choosing what I want to see in the status menu: KO.

I would like to see the following removed: qtn_cloc_status_menu_alarms

I also try to understand of the Menu extensions applet works. Modern Menu can't never been activated. And I've the feeling that all what I can do on the applet has no effect at all.

Thanks for the help.

@mousse04 you installed 1.0.1 version of settings?

@marmistrz mp-harmattan locking components version update.
I am having this problem, can you please suggest how to solve this? I just rename your unrestricted ui file name to "ui.deb".

@pankajsingh you must install aegis-install hack and install it via aegis-dpkg, not just dpkg.
@romu reinstall it with aegis-dpkg. something wrong with package information after your installation.
For choosing what to see create (by user) folder: /home/user/.status-menu

Help!
Don't understand flash Ubiboot etc. with Harmattan plus and l2fix kernels and Sailfish etc, no problems.
Install system-ui and duicontropanel from first page, run apt-get update/upgrade - tried at least five times diif. ways also via N9QTWeak but cant get /Settings/Unrestricted System UI/Menu extensions activated neither Standard nor Modern menu.
Have used this for months now without problems and now can't get it working?
(Is there a log file to create/send?)

@Garp it can be because you have no folder /home/user/.status-menu. Just create it.

Have created folder /.status-menu in /home/user/
And subfolders items-order.conf, top-order.conf, pannable-order.conf
