I've just gotten my hands on an N810, and I'm looking for some tips to get up and running. I've got a Mac, so I'm looking for suggestions on getting my personal data and files over from iTunes, iPhoto, Address Book, iCal, etc -- and any other tips or pointers to information you might have on how a Mac user can get the most out of the tablet with a minimum of frustration.

MacFusion lets you access the device's file-system in the Finder, using sshfs. Very handy.

Hi,

I just used this configuration for get connected to my N810 HD, but there is problem, you doesn't have access to all drive, because of permission maps, I didn't found a way to fix this issue.

Regards,

Taguapire.

Hi,

Up til now, I've only used MacFusion with sshfs for accessing mmc1, mmc2 and /home/user. I dropped the DSA public key from my Mac into /home/user/.ssh/authorized_keys to get round the lack of a password for user account.

I've had three mount points set up in MacFusion:
mmc1@n800
mmc2@n800
user@n800

I just added a new one for:
rootfs@n800
This uses the root password for logging in, but I suppose I could throw the same public key into /root/.ssh/authorized_keys too. I prefer to do root level stuff in the terminal though, so that's why I've not bothered before. However, disabling root SSH logins with password authentication on the N8x0 is probably a good idea from a security standpoint, so I may do this.

This seems to work nicely for me. I had this stuff running under Tiger, and now Leopard.

Hope this helps.
