First thanks so much for a native whatsapp client that also looks really good.

At the moment it is only on the level of android whatsapp + contact synchronisation or am I doing anything wrong that i haven't any notification after i closed the app without quitting it?
As far as I know there is a daemon running. If this is the case it currently only uses resources without a function, right?

After swiping down the app you won't get any notification about incoming messages. That's what I meant.

I've been using v0.1-8 all day without a hitch. I just want to thank coderus for his magnificent work, and encourage anyone else who is using the app to consider clicking his donate link.

Hi,

Maybe you have problem with wifi / 3G bug ? when your connection change (from wifi to 3g for example) , mitakuuluu stays in "waiting for connection mode"...

Or possibly you don't have last version ? (last one is 0.1-8)

Best regards

Miki

Hi Coderus,

i have found bug... not sure if it is related to mitakuuluu or is it jolla bug....

If i go outside of my house, so my connection change from wifi to mobile 3G mitakuuluu stays in "waiting for connection" mode until i tap on quit so that daemon closes down together with frontend....With new start up of mitakuuluu it logs in and everything is ok until next change of connection ...

Are you aware of this one ?

Best regards

I use 0.1.6 because changelog didnt show something I really need.
So you say you get notifications? Thats nice to hear. In my cases I think I didn't get them while beeing home with wlan the whole time between two uses of the GUI.
But maybe the wlan connection got lost and the daemon didn't reconnect.

EDIT:
Otherwise... there is "Fixed notification" listed in 0.1.7. I guess I should update .

oh, i should add restriction of receiving bugreports: "only latest versions"

@CLRS530 there are always many bugfixies in codebase, not listed in changelog

p.s. v0.1-9 with connection fix and other will be published tomorrow
