im trying to install bleeding edge driver iv downloaded it onto the main n900 dir, it says to copy to MyDocs folder wich is not there i had to make one and evertime i do cd MyDocs it says can't cd mydocs was wondering why?

Paste the exact command you tried and what it returned, please.

Check current path by typing pwd

If you want to be able to use cd MyDocs (make sure the capitals are correct), you need to be in /home/user/ . So typing

pwd
followed by enter shows your current location.

Use tab to auto-complete path names and program names. Not only does it prevent you from making typo's, but also, if "My", followed by a tab, does not auto-complete, you know there's something wrong.

i tried cd /home/user/MyDocs that worked that way, i was typing cd Mydocs and got the error but all good now thanks

It is also case sensitive, you might want to make sure next time.
