New build:
Windows, Linux and Diablo versions now have a call by command line interface.
1. qgvdial MUST be running before calling by command line.
2. Usage: ./qgvdial call 2223334444

Also: Yet another attempt to publish the bb10 version.
Painful stuff.

It was an attempt to fix the problem with texts on the Windows version.
Looks like it didnt help.
There is some problem with the way Qt5 handles XML data: it works in Qt 4 but not Qt 5...

The good thing is that I found out about it sooner rather than later (thanks Bharateeyudu).

The bad thing is I dont know why it isn't working or how to fix it.

The good thing is that at least I know its Qt5 specific and therefore only affects Windows.
The bad thing is that it also affects Sailfish (shhh dont tell anyone yet).

New build!
After fighting to make the inbox parsing code work correctly between qt4 and qt5, I ripped it all out and re-wrote it so that I don't need to use QXmlQuery.

It is now much better to read and understand.... and more importantly, it works.

Changelog:
-> Inbox now shows SMS texts correctly on all platforms.

Maemo build has been pushed out.
Other builds are on the project download page.

Just updated to new build! (After forgetting to update for a while.) No more blank contacts! Yay!
I wonder how feasible it would be to make an "instant search" in contacts - as in it starts filtering them out before you hit enter. So for example I type "joh" and it filters to "john smith" before I finish typing and I can just tap the name.

I thought I had already enabled search as you type on all mobile platforms.
Which one are you using?

Yes, search function works in MeeGo for sure. But I think taixzo is wanting an "Instant/smart search" like the built in search in MeeGo.

By the way, thank you for the new build uvatbc! I can see SMS in Windows as well, and love the new UI on MeeGo.

Ok first the bad news: It looks like Google Code has stopped accepting uploads.
I now have no choice but to get some place to keep the binaries I generate.
Thats the only thing I'll be working on for the next couple of weeks.

Good news: If you're a BlackBerry BB10 phone user, qgvdial is now available in the BlackBerry app store.

Have you considered uploading to OpenRepos.net? Warehouse app is currently a wonderful alternative to the (dead) Nokia Store! (although it only hosts Harmattan, Nemo, & Sailfish right now)

I'll definitely look into it.
Thanks for the suggestion
