I had a problem connecting the N810 to the 3 UK network with an N95 8gb.

Then I found that the name of the Access Point on the N810 had a typo in it.

By deafult the 3 setting entered by the wizard adds a space to the end of the name "three.co.uk "
Remove the space and it should work. All other settings the same as the wizard puts in.

Don't know if this is an OS2008 thing or exclusive to N810.

Hope it helps.

Also i find it more reliable if, on the N95, Packet Data is set to "When Available" rather than "When Needed"

That explains a lot! I couldn't get the pre-defined connection to work, but when I created my own with apparently the same settings it worked fine. Didn't occur to me that someone at Nokia might have fat fingers...

Btw how do u get the £5 internet add-on?, can u pay for u using swipe card?, or do u have the just put £5 credit on a text. All the webiste is trying to do is sell me stuff and not give me much infomation.
Also can u use pigin and e-mail and stuff on it, or is it just port 80 web browsing?

Only problem with the fiver internet addon, is that it breaks Three's terms amd conditions. I've just signed up for the broadband lite option at a tenner, which permits using the phone as a modem. It's also available on PAYG. I'm using a Nokia 6120, and it is impressively fast, certinly quicker than my 2mb virgin broadband at home.
