The Google search engine will be accessible with other Nokia devices later, eventually in more than 100 countries and more than 40 languages. The service has previously been integrated with Nokia's Internet tablet device and the 8 gigabyte version of the N95 handset.

- i'm not quite sure what to make of this 'news'... is it simply that Nokia users will be forced to get targeted, redirected results on searches through an OEM'd installed browser link?

(i thought Google Search was available on *any* 'net-capable device?)

- or is this a specific software module/client?

The news is mainly for phones. Currently Nokia has a Search app for S60 handsets that offers pretty in-depth internet and in-device search. The results currently are limited to Windows and Yahoo! in most areas, this is an announcement that they'll be supporting Google soon, as well. That's about it.
