Has anyone successfully activated Rhapsody after the 30 day trial outside of the US? I know it is a US only service.

I live in Canada, however I used to go to school in Philadelphia and hence have an American credit card, would that work?

Rhapsody offers service only to U.S. residents by the terms of their licensing from the music publishers.

I live in Canada and Rhapsody works fine for me on the 30-day trial. I had wondered if they would do geographic IP tracking to determine that I wasn't in the US (like Xbox Live), but nope. Works like a charm, just like iTunes.

My fiance has actually liked it so much I'm trying to figure out a way to get an account. BestBuy US's has a Rhapsody powered music store. I wonder if their prepaid cards would work...

Yep, in the UK and set up a "free 25" account on my PC giving me 25 free tracks a month, also loaded the account into N800 and works a treat.

I had to use a US proxy site to set up the account as it kept detecting I was outside the US, the proxy site was the hardest thing to sort out.

With a US credit card you should be fine.
