I'm sure there's a simple solution for this. I'm running OS2008 on my N800 and now the browser has decided to not do any auto-linking. In other words, when I tap on a link on a webpage nothing happens. I have to hold down the stylus on the link until a menu pops up with the option at the top to Open Link. Is there a setting in the about:config menu to change the behavior back to the way it was?

Also on a somewhat related note,....I used to be able to select a line of text in a text file by tapping on it. Now when I tap, it selects that line and most times everything above it. Any easy way to fix it?

This stuff is driving me crazy! I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Does this only happen on certain pages? They may have JS code in the page for mousedown behaviour on the links, thus it would take a second tap on the link. (or disabling JS).

Good thought. But no, unfortunately it happens on all pages.

Okay, figured out the problem. It was the virtual keyboard matchbox-keyboard that was giviing me problems. Once I uninstalled it and rebooted the N800, all was well.
