i just downloaded Endomondo_v_1_4_9.JAD file from endomondo website and it doesn't work with phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 (2012-05-23): cvm_maemo-mr2.b168+svn20547-20120523_armel.deb

it just shows a midletservice alert saying: Could not open JAR file!

how can you make it working?

I don't want to spoil anyone's party, but this thread seems a little pointless to me. There are *thousands* of JavaME programs, and the best way to check if they're working, is just to load damn midlet and try yourself. If if works, OK. If doesn't but is FOSS, it, most likely, can be made to run. Otherwise, it won't. As simple as that.

Considering how small JavaME applications are, I think that trying to browse through list in 1st, even on it's so-short current state, actually takes longer than trying for yourself.

It is true that there are thousands od midlets, but if someone does not want to search all day for a working midlet, he/she could just go see this thread and download already tested and working *.jar file... And the point of this thread is to create a large midlet base with the purpose of extending functionality and life of our beloved n900.. cheers
