Edit2:
Seems like it's a bit buggy. When pressing the middle button to change the view, it pauses the music, while this should only be happen in the 'volume section' (correct me if I'm wrong?)

Maybe a moderator could merge this and the other thread (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=1422427)? So new people dont't have to switch to view the complete history...

Wonko, cant we mod the SmartStatus+ so that you will only see the music (instead of changing views to appointments)

I think I may have found a bug. My SMS ringtone is a full MP3 song. If I now receive a SMS message, I get the notification on my pebble, but the ring tone keeps on playing. Is this expected? There seems to be no way to stop the ring tone...

I expect this to be normal. I assume that, in the normal usage without Pebble, the music would also play as long until it finishes or you open the notification and read the SMS, right?
Some details about the background:
SkippingStones just forwards the notification.
It does not mark the notification as "read" or "accepted".
Hence, the phone doesn't know anything about what SkippingStones did.
So, it just performs its normal task for when an SMS was received.
One option to change that would be to cause SkippingStones to mark/clear notifications once it receives them.
Another, more complicated one, could be to wait until the SMS view was closed on the Pebble and then silence the notification.
However, this requires that the watch sends a notification about this and I don't even know if it does so.
So, this is just a very wild guess.
But well, without wanting to sound repetitive, I will likely not have the time to look into this.
I am also voting for merging the threads. I explained my reasoning in the other thread.

By the way, the link to the other thread is: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=92976
The other link above, somehow leads into the void.
Rationale being that, right now, a very long discussion about SkippingStones is in the other thread; if I see it correctly, it's essentially everything of the other thread except the first post.
Furthermore, there is, imho, valuable information in the other thread as well, like the howto for patching the media player or MeeCast.
I am not an expert on how complicated this will be, but maybe just adding everything except the first post from the other thread to this one will do? (And then add another post to the other thread with a pointer to this?)
