I've been having good results with this update, but I'm still seeing presense status issues that I haven't seen anyone report. Maybe I missed the posts, maybe I'm just alone?

For ICQ connections, contacts who are "Not Available N/A" are shown as green/online. I would think yellow/away would be the appropriate match.

For MSN connections, contacts who are "Idle" are show as green/online. Again I would think yellow/away would be the appropriate match.

Anyone else seeing this? I don't see any bug report for it yet, but would gladly make one if I'm not alone.

Moonshine: Yeah, you're right, there is definitely some status mis-information. I think that would explain some stuff. I notice that my MSN and ICQ contacts seem to be always online, and I noticed that I didn't get a response for a long time from one that was supposedly online. I think nobody's noticed this bug because it is very subtle; I didn't notice it until you pointed it out.

Well at least it's not just me What's even more confusing is that the status for a contact in "View Contacts" doesn't always match the status for them in an individual chat window. It seems that the individual chat windows are more accurate, but still not perfect. (especially with MSN idle, which is wrong everywhere) Sounds like a bug report is due, I'll start gathering the info and post a link for people to add on.

I'm actually impressed. This (in beta) and Modest (also in beta) once completed will make my purchase of my N810 even that much better.

It's not perfect, I see the mismatch as described above as well; however I like it.

Also, if I call in using an IPKall number assigned/mapped to my Gizmo number, miss the call, then try to call back, it doesn't ring back at all. And if I try again, the Sipphone account basically disappears/disconnects abruptly. And I can't get it back unless I reboot the tablet.

A similar thing happened to me a couple of times already.

First, it happened only when the msn and the gtalk accounts were activated. While speaking on a sip call there is a sudden stop of the communication but without disconnection of the call. A couple of seconds latter the green bubble has an exclamation (!) in it. Turning it off and back to on, all connections are established again. Nevertheless, no call can be made unless you switch off and start again the wlan.

edit: replaced think with thing!

This is fantastic! Thank you Nokia!
OK, so there's some bugs, but it is beta after all.

First LCARS then RTCOMM. You got yourself one very happy N810 user!

Have you tried refreshing the application list?
Rebooting is always worth a try too.
