Had to get away for a few days...
was thinking of the jet...
It's great for point A to point B...but not very fun...
Plus we wanted to see our recluse friend Jim...and it isn't very accessible by car or standard plane...and we wanted to go swimming...hike the glaciers and see if there was still snow for skiing up at Whistler.
Soooo...got JUST drunk enough....
that I got the camera...
while my Lady had to fly the float plane...
....hehe...
Hmm...expanding the picture should show the photo titles which are the captions for where and what the photos were taken...instead of running dialogue too.
yeah...Jim likes it away from civilization...more so than me even...
up on his island on his lake is his "shack" hehe....he's got a few boats...but the only way in is by float plane. So we don't see him too often...
then after spending some time with Jim we flew on..
until we made it to my fav lake up at Whistler...
Where we went for a dip and then on to the glaciers and resorts...
I'll stop here or it'll be just a giant photo album...
So ...did I miss anything new round here while I've been gone?

am I into parachuting? ..yup..I do enjoy skydiving...
paragliding though?... No.
Give me one of those ridiculous looking "squirrel suits" and I'll jump off anything
Paragliding though....is an ugly, painful, undignified slo-mo accident waiting to happen

Having a sober driver and enjoying being a drunk passenger is completely cool in my books
Personally .. driving any vehicle drunk is not cool...just dangerous....except perhaps drunk with friends in bumper-cars
But usually some one spoils it by getting violently ill from the collisions and ends up throwing up on someone else
