A couple of days ago, I've been bothering bothered with a yellowish color on my screen.

I don't know how this got there..
I've rotated the phone around, just to be sure that it's not the web page. So, it seems like my screen is somehow really broken.

Does someone else has this problem with their Jolla?

I got a small yellow spot, but alot less distinctive. Sounds like you need to contact Jolla care.

@HtheB
I have read on TJC about Jolla screens being replaced due to same issue.
Read here: https://together.jolla.com/question/...-has-a-yellow/

ITYM "bothered" Unless you go around bothering people with your yellow screen

Not on Jolla (ain't got one) but I've had something like that on one of my older phones (Treo 600). Except mine had sharp edges, not fuzzy like yours.

Definitely a screen fault. I would take it to a Jolla service, it must be still under warranty.

I have my jolla since December and had half a year to fight with these glue residues . I avoided to send it back because I feared that it would simply be exchanged. But I wanted to keep my real first one.

For me it was the same spot plus the bottom right corner at portrait Mode. The yellow was so strong that blue and purple were significantly interfere (complementary colors). other, similar experiences I've had with my iPhone 4s.

My solution was then to heat up the device with a highly resource demanding program (Real Racing 3 or GT Racing 2) at full screen brightness. Best with covered screen.

Alternatively you can to it in an oven at low temperature.

Since that time I have repeated this practice 5 times. With my iPhone it did not work back then, maybe due to the glass conducts the heat too well. But this time there is nearly nothing left. Only at full screen brightness and when you be out to see it.
