In the best case, I will have battery re-charged for N900 by the next week.
It would have been useful to find full-body armour for N900, which would be inseparable like second skin, and protectful.

I stumbled onto this thread today and smiled. I love my N900 and still use it on wifi. I just purchased another battery for it about a month ago and was grateful I was still able to find a battery.
We may not be as visible, but we are here quietly rockin' our beloved N900.
It still "lives long and prospers" in my hands...
A big "cheer" to all my fellow N900 lovers!!

How do people still use a N900 as a daily phone? The USB port in mine is borked, but I have an external charger for the battery so it can still function. Fired it up a few months ago before I moved to my Nexus 5 and I found it slow as ****. The few minor things that make it unique just aren't worth the hassle of a phone that is now just too limited.

Did you flash it? If it is slow and running "off" that can help. But if you find it "limiting" it might not be worth it to you - it can all depend on what you want and need from a device.
