I have countless times pulled out my Jolla, double tapped, only to learn its upside down and need a cowboy twirl to use. With the top and bottom bezels pretty much the same size, having the whole UI rotate (like in some applications, browser for example, so it doesn't seem to be hardcoded, but not sure on the basic UI) would be useful in many situations. One problem is the mic and speaker don't rotate freely, so phone app would need an exemption and maybe warning if the phone is upside down (then again speakers can be used as microphone http://www.zyra.org.uk/sp-mic.htm though not sure if the quality would be good enough), but for most checking text/feed/quick reply scenarios this would be quite useful?
