Daedalus Musicplayer
is an flexible musicplayer for SailfishOS. It is based on the versatile gui of the MPDclient SMPC.

Features:
  • Browse albums
  • Browse artists
  • Browse all tracks
  • Playlist save/load/delete
  • Last.fm metadata download
  • Last.fm scrobbling (with nowplaying)
  • cover actions

More features to come in the near future. If you find critical bugs please leave a note here. I try to fix them as soon as possible.

Ok, I try it as soon as possible. But than I have to create two versions probably. Or is this stuff allowed in harbour? Really don't want to ship more libraries.

Hi!

The "files" list from SMPC is not available in Daedalus. Do you have
any plans on bringing it back?

Cheers!

Yes, but this is a lot more work than using the sparql database. At least if you want to show the tags of the files. So this is a goal for the long run

I might be alone with this, but I don't need anything except the files themselves and "now playing" instead of "not playing"

If someone opts to use the file list, why would tags etc matter?

Is that related to SMPC always saying "not playing" though the playlist view works?
