Two possibilities of course; either a mistake, clicked "confirm" twice without making any selection or then a delibrate choice, a protest vote?

It is very difficult to happen by accident, I think before it recuires double confirmation, hence I tend to think the latter, it is a protest.

The results are in, but there is problem in the voting machine on the automatic calculation. All the previous elections work OK when I tried it now, when I push the button for the calculation all happens like it should, but this one does not show results

I calculated the results "the old way" and it works, I have the results, but there was a problem applying them to the database.

We are investigatoing this at the moment.

none of the possible choices.
Also, 41 votes (i.e. one every two voters?) for pichlo, who later asked *not* to vote for him?

I do not see that as a big problem. I do not xpect to get in the top 5. And if do, I will accept the result.

As the automatic calculation does not work ATM, you can calculate and verify the results using the manual method described in http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo.org_team...ection_results

However, I uploaded the results on my server where you can see the same thing that would be shown on the voting results page:

Quick reply...

I am in the mood to both laugh and cry while looking at the results.

Pichlo, you were right - you are not in top 5.

HtheB, sorry. I did vote for you in top 5.

The results are a tad different from what I put into top 5? No surprise, I am not the only one, or the most typical one.

Figuring out meeting time will be fun, with people from different continents :-)

Figuring out the problem with auto-calculation of results is important. And making https:// usable more widely on *.maemo.org would be welcome - not as urgent as maintenance of functionality, but very welcome feature.

Best wishes. Thank you.

Your time will come!
Congrats to all others.

Also a bit surprised but not so much. And it looks like a good mix!
'Only' 82 voters? [I would like to so many (at least) in e.V.]

Regarding meeting time: will be a hassle (three different continents, right?). Let's see (current Tue 20:00UTC was perfect for me )
