What type of SIM card?

Looks like miniSIM just as N950 takes, but presumably you have already compared?

not really because my n950 prototypes take SIM standard not mini.

when i put mini sim with adaptor on n9 proto it can't push inside hole i dont know why.

Sdandard SIM = credit card size
Mini SIM (N900 and most sensible phones) = 25 x 15 mm
Micro SIM (iPhone, N9, Jolla...) = 15 x 12 mm

You can do a micro-to-mini adapter yourself; maybe, it would fit the SIM tray better.

Or, if you are lazy, buy a pay-as-you-go SIM card in a pound (dollar, euro...) shop. They nowadays come in a "combined" shape that allows you to easily break out the SIM of any common size, like this. Voilá - an adapter! It cost you a pound (dollar, euro...) and you still have a free anonymous nano-SIM
