This is probably in an FAQ somewhere... but for starters... you can find a ton of OS2006, 2007, 2008 repositories at...

There is a button associated with each repository so you can see the applications in that repository.
Before you install an application, do some research and make sure it isn't going to cause any problems. One method is to use google advanced search and restrict it to internettablettalk.com

Interesting applications include:
- Maemo Mapper (mapping, navigation software, can be used with or without GPS)
- simple-launcher (nice utility to launch applications by clicking on icons on the home screen)
- vagalume (last.fm internet music player)
- omweather (get your weather reports on the home screen)
You can find all of those if you search the gronmayer site.

SPCartmanland,

Go to the gronmayer site above select os2008 on top right. Then select all the packages 51 at last count open up Application manager. Follow instructions on gronmayer(which says to delete all packages in Application Catalog before loading news ones). Very easy to delete and install news packages. Click on Application manager on top left and from drop down menu select tools then select Application catalog and delete each catalog one by one then close Application Catalog menu and let it refresh. Then go to gronmayer site and click all repositories to install for os2008. Then when file download menu opens click open to install repositories directly to Application manager. You will be prompted to add each individual catalog hit ok on each one. When finished adding catalogs it will prompt you to refresh application list click ok. It will begin downloading all the repositories and then refresh the application catalog. Now go back uo to the Application manager menu at the top left and from drop down menu click on tools again and click on Application catalog again. You will see that all the gronmayer catalogs are in the Catalog menu. I add this extra step because sometimes the catalog doesn't load fully(don't know why). Double click on each repository in the catalog and a new menu opens that says Catalog details. Click only on the ok button and go to the next repository and double click on each repository and click ok on catalog details until you have done this for each repository. When finished click close and the refresh application list will pop up click ok and wait for it to refresh application list. Now click on main view menu and click on browse installable applications. Then click on all and you will see every application available in blue pill(there is a red pill and blue pill and it's too diificult to explain here). Before you click to install any app hit the i button at bottom of screen. An Application details menu will come uo look to see on Status if it is installable. Read before installing because some apps will only give you headaches.
If you want more apps and simple instructions I have a thread that has many great apps that others have developed. All I've done is written simple install instructions that I pieced together from a variety of threads.
