Ok so editing the file did not work.

I can dig into the SQlite and see what I can come up with, I will also see if any of the Devs at XDA may have the MMS headers

Is there any other reason I am missing that could cause this issue?

Brief recap for any newcomers:

I can receive all MMS

I can only send MMS to tmobile users (my network) all others do not receive my MMS

My SIM and MMS work perfectly in an old Samsung Vibrant (Original Galaxy S), sending and receiving from all cell users

Tech support at tmobile say everything looks right on their network

ZedThou is also seeing this same issue.

Edit: Posted to XDA here:

Would have been too easy

Which MMS protocol version does the Galaxy use?

And maybe that is true. On their network.
So you, or your friend(s), should raise this issue with network techstaff of the other provider(s)! As it looks like the MMS get lost there.

What about a cross-test?
Exchange SIM with your friend and send with any device (your SIM) to your N900 (friend's SIM).

I can certainly try the cross test

At best with the 'oldest' device you can find.
MMS protocol v1.0!

No luck on the cross test, cant find a tester that has a normal sim card (non-micro) to swap with

Quick reply...

Doesn't N900 use micro-SIM card?
Ah, N900 uses mini-SIM, and everybody else around you uses micro-SIM?
There isn't much difference between them. Does any of micro-SIM users have a "mini-SIM bracket"?

Best wishes.

N900 uses normal sim, not the "mini" one. Brackets should help with both micr-sim and mini-sim users. Contacts are the same.

I think that N900 uses mini-SIM. Full-size SIM is 85.60mmx53.98mm. Mini-SIM is 25mmx15mm. Micro-SIM is 15mmx12mm. Nano-SIM is 12.30mmx8.80mm, and thinner.
And yes, contacts are exactly the same.

Thank you. Best wishes.

Thanks, I stand corrected. Funny enough, some local names (e.g. most operators in Poland) have it shifted, by not considering full-sized SIM existence, and starting with miniSIM as full-sized SIM (with the micro- becoming mini-, and so goes on). I think it may explain why people were confused upon your suggestion to find someone with mini-sim.

It's an easy mistake to make. Most mobile phone users (and sellers!) are not old enough to remember full-size SIMs. I had only one full-size SIM phone. That was a loooong time ago. It sucked big time. Battery life <12 hours. Only receive SMS, not send. Good riddance.
