As a heads up, search and pvr will no longer work due to changes that affect the data used by get_iplayer. Download is still possible using PID.

I just ran into this issue, thanks for reporting.
What a pain for those that use there PC as a PVR.

yep. There is going to be a new api (Nitro) which could be an option but I suspect getting key/token to use it would be an issue for the devs. The other option is to use another service that hooks into it. Just need to wait and see how it plays out.

My impression from github was a pid linker from the iplayer website was a temporary workaround.
PID option still works, however, this is a PITA if you want a series.

I don't see why a API key would be an issue. If they wanted to be awkward with the devs, just get all get_iplayer users to request a API key.

Just checked and 2.90 has been released. This adds a workaround to reenable the features.

get_iplayer 2.90 now in -devel.

I am on version 2.87-9-g6335969-ppa20p1 for Ubuntu and the PVR has started working again.

Just out of interest, have you had any luck with the aactomp3 switch issue? A nice to have, though what you've already provided is mega.

not had much time to look into yet, been doing corsix-th and some nemo>debian porting whilst trying to get hildon-gtk3 running.

i know there is a message about updating some perl modules to look at as well.
