theflew,

Excellent idea, thanks. I'll put it in the next release.

Hello,
I just installed and I really like this program.
I would love to have an option to launch mClock directly from the dropdown list if is possible.
mClock can be found here: https://garage.maemo.org/projects/mclock/

Anyone who has installed 0.5, I have a question. Does world clock still launch for you? On my N810 it brings up the hildon note saying "Clock - loading" which times out and no clock ever loads. The clock does still work from the utilities menu. Is it just me, or have I messed this up for this release?

Thanks

Thanks tabster,

I have a version coming that is just a menu cleanup based on theflew's suggestions, which I agree with. I will fix the clock launch in that release.

also confirming that clock doesn't launch when selected from the drop-down menu of v0.5.

Okay, version 0.5-2 fixes the world clock issue and cleans up the menu. Click on the current date to launch the clock. Get it at the link in my sig.

Hope this one has persistent settings? I'm getting tired of resetting back to Nokia Sans Cn 28pt, 24hr, everytime I reboot. Of course, soon as I get bored with hacking powerlaunch to break in unexpected ways, I won't have to reboot so often...

Bensen,

You are in luck - this one has persistent settings! Except I noticed there was a bug that prevents this from being true all the time (I write old data into the file half the time) and stacked mode isn't checked on start-up. Oops!

I have a new version that definitely fixes persistent mode all the time for sure! At least, I think it does. I guess this is an extreme case of "release early, release often" and I am sad I cannot catch and fix all these bugs at the same time to make it easier for users, but there you have it.

I am going to go out on a limb and state that this version also has - if nothing else - a very reduced memory leak. A memory trickle at most. Hopefully it is all gone, but it is too early to tell. Anyone who has an uptime of 2-3 days (and it sounds like that does not include Bensen or me) who could check this out over time, that would be greatly appreciated.

Get from the link in my sig, and sorry for the too frequent updates. Thanks for your patience everyone!

Bensen: thanks for the heads up on Nokia Sans Cn! In AM/PM mode I can display at 24 pt as opposed to 18 with plain Sans.
