I have tried once to take off glass from the digitizer on N9 and did not had any luck despite reading all "iPhone" glass removal instructions and following them closely.

Therefore, my suggestion is to change full display. You can get non-branded aftermarket N9 lcd's from e-bay cheap. And as I stated, I also have one brand new OEM full lcd (including digitizer and plastic frame) available for 50 EUR + shipping.

Not sure... Either there are really clever people managing to do it, like here:
http://www.gpgworkshop.net/howto-rep...sslens-20-fix/
or the problems caused by such attempts (does heatgun make the liquid-crystal-display boil?) force people to finally buy a whole display assembly (lcd+digitizer+glass, correct?)

Best wishes.

it is doable. But the whole LCD assembly is ~40€, so IMO, not worth the trouble. Because it can go the other way so you'll end up buying the whole thing anyway.
