Kangal is right. There is no such thing as a Voodoo zombie. That was a defamatory campaign invented by the European missionaries to suppress traditional faiths and promote Christianity. In fact, the idea of using a person's piece of clothing, hair, blood etc to "cast a spell" and exert control over said person comes from European medieval wichcraft. Nothing to do with Voodoo at all.

@ pichlo - beg to differ on that. the process includes some serious brain altering substances and a supposed process which alone would be enough to drive a body quite mad if not vacant. Saying voodoo whether haitian, african or other is not valid ...and a product of a euro-smear campaign ...may as well cavalierly dismiss every other indigenous belief on every continent as well . and say the same. Sure historically victor civilizations attempt to convert, dismiss, eradicate, or demonize a servile culture...but said servile cultures always find ways of hiding and safe-guarding their beliefs...incorporating christianity into their ceremonies is one method. A piece of clothing, lock of hair...etc. is nothing more than sympathetic magic...done by many cultures. a fragment of the whole making an "effect" . Little different to homeopathy or other modern methods of medicine ..not that I subscribe to homeopathy..

Just a quick tip, Toxoplasma is very common in the environment.
A small percentage of people are infected with it.
Once you're infected, you have it for life.
It lives in your brain.

It has little to no effect on humans.
However, it can cause termination on pregnant women.
It also lowers reaction time for some individuals.

And to think, all of this from a bit of cat poop. I feel sorry for you pups :'(
