I am totally lost for anything beyond pure text input. I have become so ingrained on typical WinPC keyboards I have no clue if or how I can use the keyboard for navigation within the GUI.
I have tried searching and can't find the answer...most threads are simply about how to get up and running. After that five minute learning curve...well, then came the "...ummmm, nice, now what?..."
I love that I can type text at the command line again. Holding the device all the time is sort of hard on my hands. So, even if all I can really use the thing for is typing text I am thrilled.
I have to say I had it here for almost a week but was putting off installing it because I thought there was a hard part...the info here made it that 5-min learning curve.
And the iGo Stowaway is one sweet bit of engineering. I really am blown away by how nice the key travel is as well as the layout, while smaller does not feel too cramped. It's gonna take some time to get used to the key combinations but thats to be expected.
Anyway, any tips about keyboard navigation will help and be very appreciated. I have discovered the blue-FN TASKS combo opens the window menu...and have a bit of a feel for using the arrow keys to navigate the menu. But it would be nice if there were either existing keyboard shortcuts or at the least if I could mod whatever file manages the existing key mappings.
It's a awful nasty stormy day here, winds up to 50mph so far but not a lot of rain yet. So I have all the time in the world and have OODLES of battery backup power. So even if and when the power poofs I can keep goofing off.
