I remember doing this with my old Sharp Zaurus as the official repos and app sources began to fade away.
Is there a way to grab the archive in a big lump?

Does anyone have quickedit 0.99.9-1 .deb file? I am sorry if this is the wrong place. I've been looking around for it for quite some time now.

A rather odd piece of N9 online infrastructure is now gone. Connectivity-test.ext.nokia.com is now 403. This is the page that the N9 tries to load when connecting to a wifi hotspot to provoke the hotspot to serve up the login/agreement/disclaimer/etc page.

I don't think the inaccessibility of the page really matters, since actually loading it isn't as important as _attempting_ to load it. But still, it's part of the Nokia N9 support from the mothership that's vanished.

update: I've now used several wifi hotspots with "use automatically" set in the edit networks list and the fact that the Nokia test page is inaccessible doesn't seem to prevent the phone from automatically clicking "I agree" or whatever the hotspot asks for and getting online without me doing anything manually.

So. to avoid load this page, can we deactivate this or modificate to call another page?

Other think. Now after flashing, in every reboot the N9 like to configurate the Nokia account. Can i eliminate or deactivate this to?

And another thing: For some reason, the Nokia Music Store still exists, but I can't listen to "genre radio" anymore and of course can't sign in with my now defunct nokia account. Not that the music store was of any use to me in the US, where no tracks were available for purchase . . . still I wonder how anyone uses it without a Nokia account.

Or are there still active Nokia accounts out there? Can anyone still use the music store? Or does it just exist as a tease now?

At least nothing of value was lost.
