Hi.

Let me guess:
Are you using it as a DLNA multimedia server? This makes sense to me

Regards.

I have actually been wondering this as well. I have two N9 and been wondering if it would be possible to use it to play through DLNA content to my TV easily. Are movies supported how well?

Have used DLNA for pictures and video clips but never for this for somereason.

What applications do we have that could still be used for this? And werent there some Torrent client for N9 as well. Just for legal stuff, of course

I kept my N9 when I got my Jolla, for backup, and for AGTL (Advanced Geocaching Tool for Linux). But now it should be somewhere there, and I don't really use it any more.

If anyone wants, and if I can find it, I could send it from Holland for a small price. Screen is OK, case is dented on some of the corners.
(Also an N900: see http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...83#post1471483)

The N9 (black 64GB) is still my main phone, holding battery for a long time. The phone still rocks.

I use it regularly for car-motorbike-navigation worldwide (except Japan), dash-cam replacement, photo, music, twitter, web browsing (I have opera, firefox and webkit installed)

I'm missing a good OSM client. CloudGPS isn't available anymore as they switched off the nokia store and I haven't managed to get it from the opera app store

Ah, and fenix, the email app is nearly unusable as it crashes upon changing the folder once you have more than 50 different imap folders. A port of K9 would be really great, also for the jolla.

I take the occasion to thank all of you for creating this new warehouse environment which works great and saved so many people. Kudos!!

Nokia HERE maps worked fine for me on my Jolla though the Android UI isn't as nice as the N9 UI. There's some bizarre teeny-tiny touch targets... but that seems to be common in Android app design.

I haven't used my N9 for quite some time now so if anyone wants a black 64GB N9, PM me an offer.

I'm not sure if It's a good idea to factory reset it. Will that kill all the apps on there irretrievably? I'd have to wipe the personal data but would hate to lose the apps for whoever buys it.

What's wrong with Japan maps ? Is it the same like the GPS fuzzing in China ,

IIRC N9 maps worked correctly in shanghai last year at least...

I am still using N9 as main phone but tried others OS : tizen, sailfish, bb10 and sailfishOS, symbian^3 and android ...
