Thank you for create the most useful text editor on Maemo 5 platform.

I came across some bug.
I have remapped N900's keyboard layout in order to be able to type more characters without using Sym key. I added vertical bar ( | sign) under fn+Shift+M key shortcut through editing /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/nokia_vndr/rx-51 file. It works in Terminal and Conversations without problems but on TxPad it is recognized as pressing fn+M.

@mp107, IIRC it is a Qt bug. ISTR having read about it somewhere. If that is the case, then there is nothing you can do about it, sorry.

Please take this reply with a grain of salt though. I am far from home and not really in a position to check the sources and I am not 100% sure TxPad even.uses Qt.

Hi,

Pichlo is right, this is a Qt bug and i haven't found a way around it... I have been meaning to set up my dev env for maemo again, so i will visit this issue when i do

trx.

Thank you for the response.
What a pity.

But apart from that I keep my opinion - TxPad is the best text editor for Maemo5.
And thank you for the whole work you did, do and will do.
