Hi, my mobile operator uses publicly routable dynamic ip addresses.
USB/DUN PtP link, no surprises there.
However, when I have it tethered, I get two ip/routes. One for ppp and other for gprs0 on the phone itself.
How does it work?

Normal networking.

All desktop computer OSes support that. Don't know if Android and iOS do, but I would expect them to.

Maemo is (one of) the closest to normal desktop linux, so again, the answer is yes, normal networking.
