Is it just me, or does the events view attached page patch not work with SFOS 1.1.7.x?

If it's the one I think you mean, it works for me on 1.1.7.28.

Working well, thank you. However, it appears on the quick peek screen. This is actually a good thing, but it's white, rather than the yellow, muted text of the rest of the quick peek info. Is this changeable and does it affect the low power mode, do you know?
