I have used Gizmo on my PC for a couple years. Was happy to see that it was available on the N8x0. I have the Gizmo 5.0 loaded (had same problems with Gizmo 4.0). What I keep experiencing is after I have finished a call, I hang up and the unit locks up for a moment, then the wireless connectivity resets itself, the application closes (always) and reopens (sometimes). I dont have problems when connected, sound is good and dont have connectivity issues until I hang up.
I have sent a similar message to Gizmo support and have not heard back. Just wanted to know if there are others experiencing the same problems with Gizmo. I like Gizmo in general, but may wind up using Skype if I cant get this problem resolved.
I thought it was a bad wireless connection, but it has done it while I am standing right next to my AP.
Apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum. Thanks for any insight.

My Gizmo works llike a charm in my N810, not Wifi drops at hang up.

Enter via terminal, gain root privileges and run the following commands:

apt-get clean
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade

Then restart your tablet and try again Gizmo.

Regards,

Taguapire.

I a have N800 with Gizmo5 and have not had any of the problems that you have. What about logging on another wireless network (friends, free, etc) and see if you still get those errors.

Ran the commands and still have the same problem. I will check at a public hotspot later today and see if its a network issue with my home network. If so, I guess I should take a harder look at the firewall or protocal settings on my router and see if something there is causing the problem.
