QMMP music player is now based on Qt5 libraries and it is opensource and lightweight. I hope it would be easy to port, but I don't know.

I think that lot of SailfishOS users would love to have that app on their phones/tablets. Developer(s) interested wanted

Just a minor correction:
It's "Wishlist", not "Whislist" - I thought it was just a typo in the previous thread, but it's here as well.

That being said, it's not really a list


Other than that, it would certainly be nice to see more standard Linux apps on SailfishOS, as they slowly move towards Qt5. But on the website you linked, they claim the minimal supported Qt version is 5.4 (SailfishOS has 5.2, IIRC).

Thanks, sorry. IMHO Wishlist is used as an usual tag for this petitions, even if is a single one.
