my garmin NUVI 2595 is able to connect with jolla using BT connection, READ the address book by PBAP, and DIAL calls via DUN: how is capable of it? How is this possible?
how can I configure a "com" port versus another device like claimed to be able in Jolla zendesk #201440697? https://goo.gl/4aVw3V
can we create a patch to present an available com port to android apps?

I'm quoting:
The Bluetooth Core Specification version supported by SailfishOS is 4.0.
SailfishOS supports the following Bluetooth profiles:
For streaming Audio
A2DP 1.2 (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile):
HFP 1.5 (Hands-Free Protocol):
HSP 1.2 (Headset Profile):
For transferring Audio & Video (files)
AVCTP 1.3 (Audio/Video Control Transport Protocol)
AVDTP 1.2 (Audio/Video Distribution Transport Protocol)
AVRCP 1.0 (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile):
GAVDP 1.2 (General Audio/Video Distribution Profile):
Other
OPP 1.1 (Object Push Profile):
SPP 1.1 (Serial Port Profile):
PBAP 1.0 (Phone Book Access Profile):
HID 1.0 (Human Interface Device Profile):
Actually there are few applications to use SPP (COM) port profile and is not natively configured in O.S.
Then for use the phone via BT with other devices like mcu (arduino, pebble STM32, gps navigators, ecc...) we have to play with hcitool and rfcomm.
The FIRST question is:
my garmin NUVI 2595 is able to connect with jolla using BT connection, READ the address book by PBAP, and DIAL calls via DUN: how is capable of it? How is this possible?
The second question is:

The Third question is:

Thank you!
