Just had to check something from my N9, and noted that I currently seem to have fairly respectable uptime on it
Good and stable kernel we have there, the 2.6.32.61-plus

~ $ uname -a
Linux RM696 2.6.32.61-plus #1 PREEMPT Fri Nov 15 11:56:56 EET 2013 armv7l GNU/Linux

~ $ uptime
14:19:39 up 445 days, 3:58, load average: 0.00, 0.01, 0.00

It's now goodbye to my lovely trusty N9, the device died today of natural causes (battery blew up like a balloon)

I managed to get constant uptime of 1266 days of it...

RIP my beauty, it indeed was the pinnacle of Nokia device line

To be fair, you pretty much had to. For once you allow the battery to discharge completely (about the only reason for a reboot since there are no OS updates any more), the blighter is next to impossible to get back up

If you want, I can send you one (free for you of course) screen is a bit “touchy” but it’s in good shape, 64gb black

I thank you for the offer but I think I'll try to get me a replacement battery for it.
On cursory inspection it looks that the device itself is not totally destroyed, only the battery.

I ordered already one, sim tray holder is broken on my original N9 (it's wifi only!).
